Telmap offers a bunch of GPS apps, though Telmap Navigator is their flagship product. Navigator has all the usual features of GPS-based map services: maps, directions, points of interest, and so on, but with a few cool features. They offer moving, 3D maps and spoken or written directions, and a really neat pedestrian-centric direction model that can ignore vehicle turning restrictions and includes public transportation to ambulate your way there as quickly as possible. It also alerts you to traffic and safety cameras and much more. Can’t wait to see what they’ll be showing off at WES.

Europe’s biggest phone retailer is now bundling navigation software with their BlackBerry 8310s, hosted by Telmap. No doubt the branded app will find its way onto other GPS-enabled handsets on The Carphone Warehouse’s catalogue, both BlackBerry and otherwise. If you’re interested, you can nab one over here.
