@RogersMary sent me the details on the now official White BlackBerry Curve 8520. Previously “leaked” (not really a leak so much as a tip) on BlackBerryCool, the white Curve 8520 will retail for $49.99 on a three year voice and data plan. Personally, I think the 8520 should be free. If Wal-Mart and other carriers can do it, why can’t Rogers?

Our good friend RogersDude69 sent over some pics of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in white, which has recently arrived at Rogers retail outlets. It’s a shame that Rogers haven’t updated the software for the device, and that it’s running OS 4.6.1.290 out of the box.
