Visto moves into Chinese market


Reminding us of that pesky fly that just won’t go away, Visto announced the other day that they are moving into the Chinese market. Making the announcement about a week after RIM announced they would start selling BlackBerrys in China through China Mobile, Visto stated that it was teaming with Lenovo Chinaweal System & Service Co., Ltd., one of the leading Chinese IT vendors, to offer their mobile email products. Lenovo will offer the Visto Mobile product to Chinese enterprises, with the software working on about a dozen widely deployed mobile devices throughout China.

If Lenovo sounds familiar, it should, they were the chinese company that acquired IBM’s laptop division. So this deal with Lenovo should be very important to Visto.
