More BlackBerry 8830 deets leak, we were right about iBerry (kind of)

Mmm, more juicy goodness about the very intriguing BlackBerry 8830 has surfaced on Engadget Mobile. We’ve all heard about the built in spell checker and its 3G CDMA/GSM hybridization for awhile now, but new details have emerged that the 8830 will come loaded with iTunes! With support for a 2.0 GB microSD card, this essentially means you’re rocking a solid BB/iPod combo.

Hmm, a BlackBerry with iTunes support… Sounds familiar…

Oh yes, here it is.


According to Engadget, the Cyclone iBerry BlackBerry 8830 will be out May 14 for business users and May 29 for consumers.

Apple originally approached Verizon about carrying the iPhone, but verizon declined, due to terms and restrictions with Verizon. Apple demanded the right to sell verizon service out of their stores, Verizon said no. This is apples way of capturing the largest cell phone market in the us. Yes, Verizon has the largest user base, by more than 1.5 million users.
