RIM setting up German R&D centre?

RIMRIM is poised to set up shop in Bochum, according to a recent article in Focus. It’s confirmed that RIM’s shopping for a European location, and Bochum was an “interesting option”, but nothing has been nailed down just yet. Nokia recently killed off their production plant in Bochum, but the opportunity this leaves for RIM is questionable, as they’re in the market for researchers rather than assembly line workers. One way or the other, the new digs in Europe should produce 300 jobs - maybe you’ll see a few of the new positions on the job board…? Thanks Robb!
