Tellme updated for Pearl and Curve

Microsoft’s TellMe launched last April to meet Yahoo!’s OneSearch head-on for supremacy in voice-activated search. Today TellMe has expanded their device support to beyond the BlackBerry 8800, and now works on the full BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl range (well, maybe not all BlackBerry Pearls, and the 8300 isn’t supported), so now more folks can enjoy the business search, traffic, driving directions, maps, weather and movies TellMe is offering. Want to give it a shot? Grab TellMe for free at m.tellme.com from your BlackBerry’s browser.

What a hunk of garbage this is. No matter what I say I get “connection lost” then it crashes the entire OS. So far my Curve has restarted 3 times because of this.

Same experience. Rebooted my Curve after pressing on map of a movie theater. The only good thing about this app is the opening splash screen! Isn’t Microsoft and Blackberry together like oil and water anyway?

It runs so slow it’s like being back on a 386 computer running Windows 3.0.
