How to use your BlackBerry as a remote for your PlayBook

So you love your BlackBerry smartphone, you were one of the first to brag about your sweet new Blackberry Playbook, and now you’re wondering how to use them to their full potential? Of course you’ve already figured out BlackBerry Bridge but now you’re wondering how else can you get the most out of your toys while waiting for the next OS update? Today I’m going to show you how to use your BlackBerry smartphone as a remote control!

More than just a wimpy media remote, this will allow you to use your phone as a keyboard and mouse. It may sound strange but I assure you this powerful setup becomes natural very quickly.

1) On your smartphone, click the BlackBerry Bridge app.

2) With your tablet on and connected you might want to enable the setting “Show on Home Screen” to make this awesome feature easier to reach.

3) You’ll launch into a blue screen that should tell you the name of your playbook in the upper right. If you have one of the current generation phones all of the touch gestures you know on playbook will work just the same. If you’re using an older Blackberry just use the optical sensor as a mouse and clicking the edges of the screen will act as a swipe.
